The C.Scope SGV4 is a One Watt dual-frequency (33+131kHz) Signal Generator with in-built Data Logging. Designed for use with a CXL4 or DXL4 Cable Avoidance Tool.

The C.Scope SGV4 Data Logging Signal Generator delivers a power output up to one watt, enabling reliable energisation of underground metal infrastructure. Compatible with C.Scope Cable Avoidance Tools, it supports direct contact, wraparound, and induction methods for signal transmission. The one-watt capacity proves particularly effective for longer and deeper pipe and cable runs, enhancing location accuracy and extending detection range across complex subsurface networks.

The C.Scope SGV4 operates at 33kHz and 131kHz via direct contact, wraparound, and induction methods—all three techniques available at both frequencies. The 131kHz setting is ideal for locating short, thin, or unearthed cables. This dual-frequency flexibility outperforms the SGA4 model for versatile underground utility detection.

The C.Scope SGV4 generates pulsed or continuous signals, with pulsed mode delivering superior accuracy in noisy or congested environments. An integrated automatic daily self-test maintains measurement integrity without requiring manual calibration, reducing downtime and operational overhead.

The C.Scope SGV4 logs all operational activity for instant recall on its backlit digital display. Data transfers via USB to a PC for detailed analysis using the included  C.Scope PC Toolkit software, enabling comprehensive record-keeping and performance review without additional costs.
